Hello and welcome,
I am Adria Davidson, a Graphic Designer living and working in and around London.
My design practice is founded on extensive research into the subject’s history in order to develop simple solutions to often complex conceptual design challenges whilst maintaining varying layers of meaning.
I enjoy producing compelling and different ideas, and I am equally conscious of the broader concepts and the smaller details. My work approach is experimental, often exploring unusual methods and I am comfortable working with different design styles to create something new and exciting either alone or collaboratively. I work well under the pressure of tight deadlines. I am a quick learner always looking to improve as a designer and I am looking forward to progressing with my career in the creative industry.
During my degree I developed an interest in experimental spaces and used graphic design to explore and interpret other fields, including architecture, linguistics and technology. I graduated in July 2011 from Central Saint Martins with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. I specialised in ‘Design & Interaction’ with a focus on print based conceptual design. I exhibited work at the Central Saint Martins BA Graphic Design Degree Show at the Nicholas Clark building in Shoreditch, June 2011. (actively involved in organization). I produced work for the CSM Pop Up Shop on Clerkenwell Road, June 2010 as well as contributed a piece towards XHIBIT 2010, a juried exhibition at London College of Communication. Previously I studied on the Foundation Degree in Art & Design also at Central Saint Martins where I specialised in Illustration.
